Had another bottle a year later. This is the 2nd wine of Château Palmer, the color was still a deep Ruby red with intense jammy fruit aromas of red/blue and dark berries, but took a few minutes for nose to open. Aged for 18 month on oak (30% new) shows full fruit flavors of cherries, plums and blackberries with sweet vanilla spice. Well developed, rich, delicate and soft tannins with balanced alcohol and acidity. The finish was complex, elegant and enjoyable, giving mineral nuances with good length. Nice!

Needed a few in the decanter, but absolutely singing on all cylinders. Will easily age another 10 -15 years. Great wine
