The nose, with dark and red cherry, plum, balsamic, iron, and pencil shavings, is not as perfumed as I expected. Medium to full. Though with excellent acidic and tannins structure, the palate is quite austere and lacking a bit of fruit concentration. Not sure how much it will improve with further aging.

Nice berry-flavored wine, classic Bordeaux in style. It could use a few more years in the bottle, but is still enjoyable now.

Decanted for an hour. Really young and needs a longer decant but I didn't have time for that unfortunately.

Shows promise....right now about 90 but in several years probably up 2 or 3 pts.

Drank 10/19/17. Tasting pour.

Plum and a hint of citrus on the nose. Chocolate and currants on the palate. Moderate tannins. Long finish. Drink now for primary fruit, or age 5-10 years

3/22/7/4/4 + 50 = 90 pts
