Tasted blind. Tawny brownish red color with amber rims. Huge bouquet in the nose of roses, berries, pencil lead, minerals and some dusty dirt. Light on its feet in the mouth. Round soft fruit. Better than the last bottle of this a few months ago.

Ok, 29 mouton was pretty cool too. Soooooo not depressing.

This old wine had a lovely color and wonderfully “Bordeaux” bouquet. While clearly nearing it’s end of life, there were hints of the vintage that were enjoyable to experience.
