Well, if you ask me the bouquet is a little too robust for a Merlot, but then again I am partial to a softer California grape.

Scents of red currants, strawberry, and raspberry. A slight fruity taste that quickly turns to a smooth chocolate and wet slate. Strong tannins, could use a couple more years before opening.
