From taste: classically styled, rock, bell pepper and lead in front, backed by tobacco and pine lumber. Fruit is way at the back of this bus, which is pleasing. Concentrated palate, full mouth, tobacco tinged cassis and mint in front with a long finish wracked with rocks, lead and assertive tannin. Shows typicity, power and polish well, well-priced at $64. Can be tucked up to 20 years for sure.

Fresh black fruit, anise and vanilla bean. Cedar finish. Lush fruit, forward aromatics, fine grained tannins. Barrel aromatics are prevalent but should subdue over time.

The nose is effusive with pure fruit and cool forest floor and cedar aromatics. Fresh black currants, pencil shavings and subtle vanilla bean on the palette. Light on its feet and finely structured. Peyrabon is indeed hitting its stride with this vintage.

Ending the best Christmas. I was able to spend the night enjoying great wine with my dad and oldest son. It was some great wine to be had but it was the company of that made it the best. Merry Christmas to everyone. Love your family

Had all the right flavors and notes, just nothing to really push it over the hill. Nice for the price and great rebound after stumbling across a corked Rhone.

What a way to end thanksgiving. Dark fruit, cedar and so much more. Would definitely agree this could only get better with age. Glad I have few more tucked away

Today, a youngster built on primary fruit and velvety tannins. Tuck this away for another five years for further development.

Even better a year later. Dark purple color, wonderful leather and dark fruit on the nose. Medium to full body on the palate. Wonderful balance, tannin and cab finish that is pure Bordeaux. I want more!
