The essence of Bordeaux. Pencil lead minerality balanced clean layered. Why you want to drink French.

05 showed supple balck fruit complimented with leather, roasted herbs and pleasant earthiness. Tannins had mellowed to a soft, polished feel. Lovelely

Plum colored, this side-by-side is a good reason to drink this wine in a 10 year window. Cassis, currant, plum, and smoke on the nose carry through to the palate. The fruit is bright and the med weight tannins are nicely integrated. There is just a slight note of brett - compared to the '00 brett monster. Thus, I would recommend consuming over the next 2-3 years.

Tannins are starting to tame a touch, dark currant flavor, classic.

Tasty, but too early to drink now. Will get better, but not to sure how much better it will get with cellaring above what it is today. Happy enough but value proposition perhaps a little out of balance

Lovely medium body. Tannins well resolved. Paired great with bacon wrapped mozzarella and tomato bruschetta. Golf weekend continues!
