Better than I remembered, maybe it was my stew or the citrus glazed turnips. One can never tell. Mushrooms, cinnamon, cherries, dirt, something like tree bark on the nose.
By now, the ‘19 is well integrated, the palate is smooth, luxurious as they say, but not heavy. A bit of tannins help with structure, and with stewed beef, a nice match. The finish is bitter cherry bright. Not hugely long, but fine.

Young, ripe, grapey, a bit boozy, needs some aging to settle down, good stuff, albeit not outstanding.
