Yesterday I had the 2011 Château Fonbadet Pauillac. 75%Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot a very nice Bordeaux Blend in a weak 2011 vintage.

On the nose was black cherry, black raspberry, blueberry, black currant, licorice, menthol and earth.

On the palate the was black cherry, black raspberry, blueberry, chocolate, licorice, herbs, spice and rich earth.

The wine is medium to full bodied with a softy velvety mouth feel, medium+ acidity and medium+ fine tannins that leads to a long enjoyable finish. Continue to enjoy your weekend and have a sage Mothers Day. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Ruby color. Red cherry, black cherry, earthy, spice, a little VA, funky and beautiful. Needs a little time to open up. M+ front tannin. Red fruit, m acid and long finish. Needs more time.

Lite and balanced. Pop and pour a little drying mid palette. Nice
