2017 vintage. A little leaner than previous visit in September 2021. No less delicious tho.

2017 vintage. Previous tasting notes from 8.5.21 apply. Add in an additional light lavender flourish mid-palate and it's on-like Tempest.

2017 vintage. Nose initially dropping blueberries, freshly baked pie crust and cinnamon graham crackers. After approx an hour, total chameleon/180 degrees pivot…California coastal winter storm nose married to flechettes of brandy. Body starts off medium, then undresses to a Burgundian-styled light. Flavors add a dash of green olive and red clay into the proceedings. Hawk hovering in place against the headwind finish…light and impossibly there far longer than you ever suspected it could be. Really nice but complicated enuff to keep cork dorks busy indefinitely. A tad too sophisticated to open for most of your friends. Keep it close and for your personal esprit de corps.
