Everything there and humming along in this elegant, middleweight Bordeaux. Slight, fairly minimal Brett; this opened up quickly to deep cassis, tobacco and cigar and developed nicely over an hour of air. Still some slight tannic dust that makes me think, along with the dark color, that this was stored fairly cold for most of its hibernation. Nice to get a good bottle of this. Drank a bit above its pedigree, and younger.

Delicious fully mature graves with a gravely tobacco nose vibrant fruit and haunting finish.

We had this on 8/7-8/16. Nice tastes of dark cherry, chocolate, leather and graphite. Just a different scent and taste from an American wine.

Classic bdx and drinking well. Dark cherry, wet wood, a touch of beef broth and tobacco. Modest finish but everything is there.

Very complex, deep, smoky almost at first. Opens up nicely. Very dry. Not done.

Classic left bank. Herbal, complex, balanced. Total sleeper, held up well against the classified growths.

Boggy with a side of kelpy mist? Also cherries.

Cork heavy with taint but the wine emerged so much less saturated than one would expect. Have never experienced this phenomenon before. Still, the wine suffered.
