Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

A blend of mainly Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc (30%) with some Malbec (7%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (3%). Perfumed dark fruit, blackberry pie and cherry with hints of graphite and vanilla. Big, bold, structured, balanced. Quite different from the 2017 vintage

Cocoa powder gets you on the nose, but this merlot-dominant wine presents a nice array of red and dark fruit. Thyme? Light chalk and spice. Juicy acidity, tannins are tamed. Not the worst thing you could drink on a Monday.

Light flavor on the front of the palate with a deep roundness to finish

Dark plummy colour, strong strawberry jam on the nose. Strawberry, plum flavours predominant. Quite easy-drinking

A Big surprise lovely Bordeaux, no overoaked, trash or overextracted juice, just plain delicious wine, thats all.

Floral and strawberry notes. Medium bodied and high acidity. This needs time. No new barrel. World oldest organic vineyard from 1599.
