Deep ruby with a light ruby core. Decanted for a half hour before serving, initially I had a candied red fruit on the nose that blew off and now have a tart cherry and pomegranate quality with dried herbs. The acidity is nice on this one, lush and juicy.

Nose of dark fruits and coffee, herbs & bay leaf. Really starting to come into its own. Medium tannins. Fruits are bright but are of the dark variety. Strong plum, coffee & soft leather. Good value for around $25. Drink now and over the next five years.

Raspberries, prunes... super stiff tannins. I'd even age it ten more years. Fantastic.

I am convinced 10 years is the sweet spot for these superb wines: full body matured tannins, bright deep red color, super complex aromas that evolve from uncoarking to last sip really unfair the haut medoc vineyards were not included in the 1855 classification

Dark color, interesting nose. Tart & tannic, but not too much fruit. Very nice with food, but not so great alone.

Impressive. Deep coloring. Nose strong but softened. Best after allowing to breath. Drank with friends 2/15 in HK. All felt improved as it breathed. Would buy again.

Another excellent dark fruits wine that dance intriguingly around the mouth.
