Another Weekly Wine Committee, this time hosted by @Weston Eidson and @Benjamin Keator ! They knocked it out of the park with French wines! As always, all wines are tasted blind.
My wine of the day. Very Bordeaux from the leathery and tart red fruit nose to the peppery finish exhibited on older wines. Held its nose and taste the entire 3+ hours it was out.

I ❤️ Clinet & this 06 was £43 now £70+ so superb value 😎 Drinking great but now & in a lovely spot but will age more 👍 it changes every year I try it 😍 Quick review as socialising 😁

🎯 Med+ dark mineralised silky creamed dark plummy fruits w/ tea & a rich mocha linger
🐮 Paired with roast beef & friends (didn’t eat them 🤣) perfectly

Very pretty, with beautiful tobacco providing a savory balance to sweet but well-restrained dark fruit, held together by fine grained but ample tannin.
