2 hour decant (some chunky and cloudy sediment). A splended dark purple garnet color with little signs of aging. On the nose: BAM! Expressive nose with that sweet aged Bordeaux perfume, black plum, wet forest floor, floral, smoke, slight barn yard funk, and minty vanilla. Taste: A fresh, smooth medium to full body wine with blackberry, tea, orange peel, cedar, currants, plum, and a chocolate coffee medium plus finish. Wish the taste matched the nose, but drinks decently right now with the decant...pop one if you got em!!!

A more typical vintage year, this 2004 is balanced, poised, and elegant. Anise, red fruit elements (cherry), black berry; subtle tertiary notes (cooked blackberry, mushroom, wet leaves on a forest floor). Medium acid and body, silky tannins, the length goes on and on. A deliciously voluptuous beauty.
