No old wine taste at all although there are some sediments in the bottle. The wine opened up pretty quickly. Smooth yet big full body wine. Love it.

Nose: leather, cedar, brown sugar. anise, cola. Mouth: blackberry, ripe tannins, light spice, light eucalyptus, medium body.

Strong, lack of complexity and aroma.
