Top Notes For
"Odedi"

This 11 year old is drinking nicely now, but I was hoping for better.

Dry on the palate with medium acidity.

Showing blueberries, plums, red currants, earth, oak, vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, dark chocolates, wet leaves, herbs and black pepper.

Short finish with fine grained tannins.

Will not get any better in the bottle, so drink up.

Showing nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

Needed 3 hours in the decanter to open up properly.

I had the 2003 recently, which also had Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, and it was much better. It was also a much better vintage than the 2012.

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

89 points.

$60.

Mineral, smörkola, rostat bröd och någon slags rotsak i går in i snoken min. Hur är den i truten då, för det är ju där den ska in.
Stram, utan att vara påträngande. Man ska inte ha bråttom med detta vin och det ska ev stå sig något år. Tydligen var 2010 bättre.

Very smooth, tastes of dark fruit and berries, beautifully structured and integrated wine with long finish
