Man this has got some serious fruit. Pleasantly plummy with blackberry, cedar, pine cone, even a little black mission fig. 09 seems to be a crowd pleasing vintage. Soft enough to be approachable now. There's some power wrapped up in the core, would love to see the 09s with a few more years. Nice value.

April 7, 2018. Headed to Bordeaux, wanted to get my palate ready and this was a perfect wine to do that! Red fruit and soft tannins. Definitely needs to open up. Just give it a little time in the decanter, worth the wait!

Currants and leather on the nose. Good, stout tannins- might be too strong for some. Black cherry, pepper and light mineral on the pallet.

Extremely smooth, nice sweetness from the fruit, really deep and rich aspects to this wine. Paired with aubergines and fish with a homemade red sauce (using fresh herbs from the windowsill) and it matched nicely. I'd buy it again, maybe even a few bottles for the next few years.

Started off a bit tight but is smoothing out nicely. Most definitely Pessac in depth of flavor and complexity.
