Wonderfully dry with hints of cedar, plum, cherries and just a little earth. This wine was an excellent accompaniment to the Wagyu New York steak we paired it with. I actually had relatively low expectations for this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have a second bottle which I may keep for another year or so and then report back. An outstanding value at Trader Joe’s for about $16 I think,

A little too light, not what I want from a Bordeaux but it’s ok. I received this bottle as a Christmas present so I can’t complain.
