I was somewhat pleasantly surprised at this as I expected a jammy fruit bomb. Great balance here. The fruit shows nice tension and the 7yrs have tamed everything down nicely. Pipe tobacco, blackberries, blueberries, and a leafy characteristic as well. Didn’t come across as too hot like many Napa zins do.
