Tasted blind. Awesome deep old reddish scarlet color. Bright fruit in the nose. Notes of raspberry, dark cherry, worn shoe leather. With air some brown sugar and molasses pop up (in a good way). Very nice in the mouth. Velvet glove finish. Grew more complex and was a roller coaster of fun over a couple of hours. Big surprise here. No history with this producer but loved it. Guessed 70s Bordeaux.

Excellent bottle, tight upon opening, needed 2hrs to open. But when it did was fantastic, austere and bold, still has fruit and depth.

Pretty deep ruby garnet only slight bricking on the rim . Quite ripe slightly roasted bit powerful nose , ripe blackberry , dark cherry and a beefy character spiced nose . On the palate dark spiced cherry notes , touch of liquorice , quite rich and fills out well on the palate . Slight balsamic quality on the finish . Quite noticeable tannins still , but nice acidity and good finish . This is mature but has the stuffing to continue on for another few years and certainly improved with a few hours in the decanter
