As a Zin Master, I love the Caymus Zinfandel. It has their usual signature velvety finish but also has a little zin black pepper and good balance of oak and tanin.

Jan 21st, 2018Can't help myself when it comes to Zinfandels! Gotta have them! And when Caymus adds their overly-indulgent blending to the mix, it becomes a circus of plushness. Too bad it is only available at the winery, or I would keep more around.

Dec 26th, 2016Good friend in Orlando, Ed Murray, Dir National Sales for Wagner Family, and continual donor to our charities and causes, was kind enough to "insist" that we stop by Caymus for a taste of the latest vintages. Always one of my go-to wines, I especially love the Zinfandel (I swear I will get out of this phase soon)! This one is only available direct. It has all the deep deep colors of regular Caymus Cab, with some black pepper and that plum Zin fruit...and that signature Caymus dusty ending. One case to Orlando please!
