Tastes almost like a super nice but funky Chianti wine. Chalky notes, true red fruit with elements of fig fruit in there as well. Also some green or vegetal notes that I didn’t pick up on initially. Highly highly recommended. I have had Portuguese wines that were good but this far surpasses them in terms of elegance and balance. This encourages me to buy more Portuguese wine, I always thought they had huge potential but this went far beyond what I was expecting.
