Cherries, tobacco, and dried herbs with some impressive grip. Earlier drinking style but will benefit from time in bottle. Great value Barolo.

With Abigail. On a night discussing boundaries and fragility, this wine was anything but fragile. Aroma deeply satisfying on its own. This made us happy.

Dark cherry with slight bit of eucalyptus, nice bitterness from tannins and acid. Awesome.

Give time to open up. Well balanced. Nice aroma. Probably a good choice for a variety of guests. Drank at Abigail's for Rosh Hoshana

Blended Serralunga fruit from Marenca and Margheria vineyards. Highly perfumed nose: floral, limestone, plum, black cherry, tar. Opens up after a couple hours in the glass. Dense, chewy tannins, with a strong, Serralunga mouth feel. Pure and balanced. This feels young and will cellar well. Excellent QPR for Luigi Pira's entry level Barolo.

When you work late, lose your work, then recover it - it's Barolo time.

Great life for such a young wine. Great pairing with homemade bucatini all'amatriciana.

Smells like a dark leafy forest, maybe pine? Dark chocolate in the mouth. Elegant.

Like an old best friend you only get to see every few years and you pick up where you left off. Always amazing.
