Terrific wine. Fragrant, flavorful, balanced. Nose has sweet cherry, florals, leathery/ mahogany scents, high-toned crushed stone. It the mouth it’s flavorful but light on its feet, with intense cherry and crushed rock, nice acids, and soft tannins. Finish lingers nicely. It’s got that transparency I love in Nebbiolo that allows it to be interesting on its own yet fit lock and lock and key with food.

Dec 9th, 2022Nose has intense and pure dark cherry fruit along with a lot of crushed stone-laced gravel, along with a note that reminds me of clove-studded pot roast. Focused and clear in the mouth, it’s basically got tons of flavor packed into a weightless package. Great acids. Tannins present and providing nice structure but soft. Long finish. Really nice.
