Only after liberal samplings out of a jeroboam of this vintage can I confirm that this wine is really hitting its stride. Beautifully structured, on first impressin you are struck by a rounded tannic backbone that quickly softens to elegant flavors of plum, dark Swiss chocolate, and tobaccos. Wonderful mouthfeel, perfect finish. #winekylecandrink

Full bodied. Modern in style. On day 3 and possibly drinking better.

Fantastic brunello that brings you back to the hills of Tuscany. Elegant, lots of berries, deep garnet color. Best of an oft maligned varietal.

First had this vintage at the San Felice winery in Tuscany during October 2012. The 2006 is an outstanding vintage!
