Super Tuscan. Not overly tannic, dark cherry, dried red fruits, stewed tomato!Once it opened up, it quite smokey. Wish I had it with some food!

Soft fruits and spicy on the nose. Soft tannins throughout, dried dark fruit in the mid palate, long tannic finish.

Birthday dinner, perfect wine. Loving the well balanced wine with our Italian dinner.

Provencale cave must rising to wood smoke with a velvet finish. Sommelier said liquorice but I didn't get that: just a deep, smooth red way rounder and bigger than its diminutive price.

As an accompaniment to English Stilton and Spanish manchego with fig jelly it's a serious rival to my favourite $75 barollo.

Try it.
