Ripe sweet cherries, candied cherries, cherry flowers. Not the dark ones, the red ones. Even maraschino. Strong perfume. Over time it’s rose unfolding. Gets tomatoey. On the finish tobacco and dried cocoa. Tannins are fine and teeth-coating. Really compressed, only a handful of sweet notes, not rich in weight or mouthfeel, but quite long.
