An outstanding Merlot. Blackberries, chocolate, dried cherries, and hints of tobacco. Great structure, drinking well now, and can easily go another five years.

Lots of upfront flavor. Smoother on back end. Big for a merlot $55 at Four Seasons hotel. 2010.

Goes well with red meat. Not great to drink by itself.

Unexpectedly aromatic! This is the first time a merlot has reminded me of chocolate-covered cherries and juicy tree-ripened plums...this is expressive, and still balanced with some tannin and not-too-huge body.

Big nose and full finish. Powerful for a merlot. Could challenge a Syrah. Enjoy with chicken.
