Was meant to be labor-inducing. Alas, it was simply delicious.

Poured out of magnum. Huge quince spice, pepper, floral honeyed intensity, with minerality coming through rather nicely. Not as acidic as expected given the vintage but still very fresh and integrated with intoxicating fruit, nuttiness, and oak integrated spices. Dry and firm. Very very good.
