I'm well aware that I'm a dissenter in thinking this: I simply do not like this wine. Not only is it absurdly overpriced (56 wholesale) it is hot and imbalanced. In the end not only is it not complex or interesting, it is just not enjoyable.

Lovely I'm every way. Rich, flavorful, deep - complex earth, tea and berry notes.

After it opened up, very nice - fruity with a bit of spice. Elegant and very enjoyable

Ok. Not great but good. Maybe too young to drink.

Hot, jammy, racy and overwhelming, but not in a good way. White flowers, cucumber, strawberry, dark ripe cherryand caramel. 14.5% hits right in the face and it's not fun.

This is a weird one. Nose is absolutely compelling. Dusky, perfumed, floral, fruity and peppery. Once it goes in your mouth, though, the tannins and alcohol overwhelm. I think it just needs many more years in the cellar to mellow.
