Inky purple, prune on the nose, a blend of four red varietals, old vine, we’re told. Cherry and plum flavors with a hint of raspberry with length in the finish, mild skin astringency. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel initially but thins out after an hour. Acceptable acidity, very good value for a supermarket cheapie. After 24 hours, tart blackberry and red and black plum flavors with length emerge. Might be worth decanting if you keep your expectations in check

Full body, deep red. A good buy at $10. This was 2017 vintage.

Smells like dark cherry, oak, and tobacco. Good legs and deep color. Has the sweet softness of a Zin (which is most of this blend), and has a delicate dark red fruit flavor. Blackberry, cherry, oak. Interested to see what happens if I let it open up a little.

This was a happy surprise! An inexpensive Costco buy that had a nice fruit forwardness with some nice tannin also. The petite Syrah and Zinfandel grapes make this a tasty red blend! Will definitely buy again.

One of the best wines under $10. Nice and smooth, flavorful blend. Very easy to drink and at $7 a bottle it’s a steal.
