Smells of lightly mentholated fruit tobacco

Medium body, showing dark berry, mint, pencil shavings, eucalyptus, this has such harmony and grace, with a blueberry lambic acidity that sings till you cannot help but have another sip. Such and amazing wine, every year I drink it.

Had at cache cache. Amazing. Best wine I've ever had.

This is beautiful and juicy. Lots of texture and ripe purple fruit. What a treat. I could drink this again and again and again. Paired it with a nice mozzarella in carrozza for Valentine’s Day and I’m swooning. My wife’s okay too.

Crushed velvety leaves from alpine flowers. A wondrous bouquet of a nose, and floral in the right way, not your grandmothers bathroom kind of a way.

Seemed fitting to picture this with our urban garlic harvest. As garlic take such a long time to mature, then even after picked, must be stored properly, to get the fullness of flavor.

Sweet blackberry tar is what this well crafted wine shows up front, subtle mint, eucalyptus, river stone. A perfect tango of tannins and acids, complete with the heel in the air - or maybe that’s my heel, enjoying this wine completely.
Decanted for the usual 3-4 hours.

I thought, "This label too chichi to carry anything good in the bottle. It's overcompensating!" Boy was I wrong! I loved it! I decanted — but only because I wanted to be fancy with dinner. But honestly, it's probably great right of the bottle. Simultaneously spicy AND velvety with a really great finish!

Rich, Plush, Polished. Held together by Layers of Chocolate, Cherry Compote & Blackberry -- Love everything I've tasted from Alto Moncayo, and believe they stand amongst the best in the region...
