Pairing this with our first grilled turkey on Christmas Day. Thinking back to a day in August when I was pruning the vines for this wine in Argentina. It has been a fun year, happy holidays everyone!

The soils here brought by the winds and this was bright from the mountains and this is a limestone was 250 million years ago. This soils come from the ocean and this is 5000 feet above sea level 189 million years old this used to be the bottom of the ocean. You walk 50 yards and you travel this vineyard takes 6 weeks to pick they get some with higher acid the 11 will age longer they started making these wines in 2006 but did not release until 2009.

Great wine

Beautiful amber color

Relaxed, moderate oak peeking through deep stone fruit, golden apple, honey and floral notes.

Dollar for dollar this beats any white burgundy any day. Concentrated, layered with zesty fruits, menthol, white flowers....long and you just want to drink this all night long.

Stones, minerals, flint, mint. Super long. I have to get me some more of this ! I had the 2013 not so long ago this was more complex. These wines get better in time so my other 2013 won't be drunk until 2 years from now at least
