Bevan Cellars
Sugarloaf Mountain Proprietary Red Blend

Big black and blue fruit with a hint of clove. This is a special wine, albeit a touch young.

Unbelievable perfect 57%Cab Franc- 43% Merlot blend from Russell Bevan. A fruit forward version if a Cheval Blanc from St.Emilion! Full bodied rich stewed black and blue fruits with hints of mint and herbs, lavender and fully textured with a 1-minute long intense finish. Can’t imagine a better red wine.

Way too young but wanted a wine my wife would like right out of the bottle. The aromatics were off the charts but needs a decant. Not sure it was the best pick with the food but the menu was such that I’m not sure “a” bottle was going to work. Needs more time in bottle and a beautiful, warm day to hit Parker’s 100pt rating - if possible to get that high.

Young and I saw no point in pouring it into the pathetic decanter the restaurant suggested. I called it a large glass ;) @Roman Sukley hates the glasses restaurants provide. I hate when they have a decanter that would barely hold a 750.
