A bit overoaked for me. Fruit is still showing well. A fine winemaker but not this one for me. Disappointing

Drank first glass on a Sunday evening while cooking. Smooth on the first sip and then back of the mouth feeling- not sure how to describe as I don’t know wine words but seems a bit woody.

Really great fruit…that trips over the oak, unfortunately. Opens up a little with time but what a bummer. Less would be more here; less new oak, less expensive because of that, and more of the fruit would shine through.

A fruit forward Chardonnay with bright acidity. Really good.
