Family-owned and operated artisan producer of wine, started in 1999 by Dr John and Karen Bergstrom. Had a bottle year ago, dark red with fresh berry fruit flavors with a bit of earthy spice notes. On the palate, cherry and raspberry flavors with complex herb spice notes. Fine tannins on lingering finish ending with enticing earthy character. Aged well, very nice Pinot.

It's Wednesday night and I am starting the Thanksgiving weekend off with the 2015 Bergström Cumberland Reserve Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.

On the nose there is an abundant amount of red fruits that is prevalent with every sniff. Notes of strawberry, cherry, cranberry, some barnyard, rose petals, wet leaves, herbs and dusty soil.

The palate reveals notes of bing cherries, cranberry, raspberry, mint, dried herbs, rose petals and dried earth.

This is an elegant medium bodied wine with a crisp fresh silky mouthfeel, medium + acidity and medium + fine sandy tannins that lead right into a medium to long fresh finish. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends, please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits and herb spice notes. The palate shows plum and blackberry and with herb spice, cedar and notes of vanilla. Medium+ length, firm tight tannins, good balance ending with oak and pepper spice.

Last wine to be bottled every year. They call it a true reserve. More fruit forward and lower barrel impact...Willamette Valley blend...
