Bosc dla Rei Moscato d'Asti

What a pleasant surprise! Not normally a sweet wine drinker but this one had almost a little caramel-like tone to the sweetness. I would gladly enjoy this one again.

Light frizzante. Clear straw. White flowers and candied peaches on the nose. The crisp blast of peach offers a good compliment to the sugary viscosity. Also a slight amount of brown butter and apple. Delicious.

Really nice and sweet, almost like a cider.

Appearance: Clear with stagnant micro bubbles throughout. M light gold to clear and bright rim
Nose: Clean, M/+, Canned Peaches (fuzzy peach candy rings), Apple, Lemon Flesh, Retired Pear
Palette: Off-Sweet, M Acidity, Tangerine, Mandarin Orange, Hibiscus, Slight Floral Rose Petal, Lemon
I love this wine. Always have a bottle or two on reserve for an after dinner glass with friends over. Frizzante in style, this wines slight spritz compliments the fattiness in the mouth from the abundance of sugars. Not overwhelming, but hard to drink more than a couple glasses. Definitely recommend sharing with friends to divide up the bottle. Priced just under $20, this Italian moscato gets a ππ» from me
