A few years in the cellar did this good. Brothy, savory and delicious.

First bedrock Pinot. It's got some age, and its tannins are smooth. Solid acidity still. Red fruit stood out at the start but blue fruit emerged with air.

Dark, some spice and still drinking well. Last of eight bottles over five years.

Juicy dark berries, earth and brisk tannins. A little heat, but pretty balanced. Try again in 3-5 years.

Good lord this is delicious! A great reminder of what pinot can be. None of the "candied" flavor I find so annoying. Can't believe they held this one back for so many years.

Pulled this for the Ladies' Steak Night on the condition they save me a sip. Silly me. I heard it was good, but "No sip for you". (tried to post without a rating, but it defaulted to an 8.4, so giving it a 9.2 based on hearsay and an empty bottle)

Did not have this side by side with the Bambino, but within a few days. Totally different animals, but not just due to the nine year age difference. Rebecca's was much darker, almost opaque, with a pine needle sous bois as opposed to VN's earth and mushroom. Enjoyable, but First round goes to the Bambino for me.

Black cherry and Christmas spices. Toasty oak, ripe and lush. Obviously well made, as itโ€™s still very much alive at 9 yrs old, but this really is not my style of Pinot.
