dark violet; dark chocolate, blueberry, plum, vanilla, hints of smoke and black pepper; plush blue and black fruit, medium length; full bodied, medium acidity, tannins have largely resolved, not hot despite 15% ABV; estate vineyard, blend of all the blocks on the property; approachable and fruit forward if lacking a bit in complexity, good value, style reminiscent of Shiraz; $30
