Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Plum, smoke, beef fat, pepper, maybe some creamy oak. Big and juicy plum and black cherry on the palate with strong, somewhat bitter tannins. Bit of black tea in the finish.

Well balanced, interesting, and food friendly...and cheap. I like.
