Flaccianello della Pieve Colli Toscana Centrale Sangiovese

Close to perfect. Very fine tannins for a medium bodied wine. Lots of black fruit, tar and leather. Drinking beautifully now but will be a stunner 5 to 10 years from now.

Sweet blackcurrant, black cherries and spices and a bit smoky on the nose. Spicy on the palate with acidity and tannins, ripe sweet black cherries and blackcurrant. A bit of smoke at the finish.

Structure is impeccable! So well balanced! Medium mouthfeel with huge flavor!

Great fruit an vibrancy. A little volatile on the nose but very enjoyable.

Decanted an hour and then drank over 1.5 hours. The tannins mellowed and fruit shone. This was very good but not blockbuster

Biting tanning on open. 3 hr decant opened things up but I’d say this needs more time to really come together. Good but not a wow experience

Still super tight and needed airtime to shine. We probably drank it too fast. Good pairing with pizza
