2008 Aubert Chardonnay Lauren
Maybe my favorite new world Chardonnay. A wine so beautiful I want to give up white burgundy all together. Delicious and rich chardonnay with a decidedly burgundian style. The Lauren vineyard for me always has an ethereal component of high aromatics and this vintage is no exfeption. Had this at a school auction and sacked down two bottles (with others helping me of course). Saved a ruined evening. Thank
