Au Bon Climat
"Isabelle" California Pinot Noir
California, USA
Not sure if it was just me, but smelled mostly of new oak, which I don't care for. But showing very well overall.

Wowza. This is drinking very well now, but I want to lay some down for 10 years!

Pure, elegant wine. Silky texture. Reliable.

Should has let it sit for a little longer. Lovely but time ahead is in it's side

Full, robust and sturdy. Some earthiness alongside some dark fruit. Some smoke. Wood is not over-powering. Full-bodied.
