Artesa (ahr TESS uh) means "craftsman" and connotes "handcrafted" in Catalan, language of Barcelona and their owner, Codorníu, one of the world's largest and oldest wineries. Ruby with sweet berry fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate cranberry and cherry flavors with spice. Fine savory tannins medium finish ending with mineral notes, nice value.

Enjoyable, very drinkable, nicely balanced. Drank very well with roasted chicken. Good wine.

Dark red cherry. Tannin. Luggage tag- deeply reddish purple. Autumn florals. Violin not cello. Blaze not bonfire. Nice!

Hard to detect much on aroma, but nice acidity. No underlying unpleasant candied notes like in some pinot. Like the one reviewer said, meh, but on the elegant side of meh.

Nice regular evening wine. Definitely needs time to breathe but when it did it was very enjoyable. Not our favorite but a nice mid week change of pace.
