Old Vine Heinstein Vineyard White Blend

North Coast Gemischter Satz. Aromatic and weighty and sappy and delicious when thoroughly chilled, fat and blowsy and uninteresting as it warms. So drink it cold and love it!

Fat with a Gentil character. Heavy feel. Hoping for something racy and mineral driven. Good drink with food though.

Lovely blend of sylvaner and other grapes. Lively acidity and maybe a touch of residual sugar. Great for summer.

Medium gold in the glass....funky, cheesy, goodness. Forest floor, ripe pear, touch of Brie, musk melon, with some serious weight as it warms. I don’t know if I’d pour this for my sister-or mother-in-law, but all my wine-nerd friends would swoon and pontificate. The wine sings like Beyonce, and takes off and soars. Not sure I want many of these, but fun and pushing the vinous envelope. Dry and balanced, just out-there.

I don't know what's in the field blend, but I sure did like it. Tart green apples, pear on the nose. Super tasty and enjoyable. Solid QPR.

PnP, kind of wished it showed more now but has the structure to be stunning in 3-5 years.
