Big. Baked fruit nose. Black fruit. Not over oaked. Sort of slow on the approach.

I would encourage Mr. Murray to stick to Syrah. Not because this is a "bad" wine, but because no one in the world does rhone....well.......like rhone.

Andrew Murray's 2012 Esperance, a Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre blend, is juicy, supple and expressive. Dark red and blue fruit, spice, mint and leather add complexity, but the Esperance is mostly a wine of pure texture and juiciness. (AG)

Not a bad GSM, but not anything special either. Easy drinking not enough spice and fruit for me, it fell flat

Fruit forward on first day. I truly enjoyed it on the second day. Needs more time. Stelvin closure; can't forecast the hold window?

Needed a lot of time to open up. Rich and good after some time.
