Same maker as Olema, but their Higher end line. Tropical fruits on the nose. Pineapple, citrus all smooth and mellow. Light oak. Decent minerality/salinity. Very good!

Dinner with some dear friends at Lucio’s BYOB. Two couples, each couple brought 3 bottles.

Very pineappley aroma but far less on the palate. Compared to the Kali Hart we had first a lot more oak, less complexity overall—had some interesting notes to start and in middle, but the rest was solid but not too enlightening.

An evening spent with John Harris of Amici Cellars. Passed Hors d'ouevres, a 4-course dinner, and some delicious wines.
First Course: Compressed cantaloupe, cantaloupe gel, coconut gel, coconut-lemongrass vinaigrette, castlevetrano olive, and various fine herbs. Paired with the 2016 Sonoma County Winemaker's Chardonnay.
