Bright cherry, strong tannins, typical high acidity, but enjoyable

Wow. Best brunello I've had in ages. Bright cherry, earthiness/mushroom and balanced acidity. Super soft tannins and long finish.

Oct 28th, 2013Disappointing overall. Still a nice wine but very secondary / tertiary. Surprisingly fresh white and red fruit on the nose, but palate doesn’t reflect that. Still dusty tannins with good acid, but the fruit back just isn’t there.
