A sultry Dundee Hills native. Enjoyed with grilled beef and desert of chocolate covered strawberries ! Glad I have another bottle — 10 years ago
This wine has it all... has converted me to having faith in the potential of American Pinots. Nose is strong violets with undifferentiated fruit. But flavor bursts forth with a perfect blend of violets, tobacco, fruit and tannins. Great full body fills your mouth and makes a strong statement. Absolutely delicious!!!!!! — 9 years ago
Willamette valley Pinot is top notch. Very mild and light bodied wine with nice notes of raspberry and dark cherry. Dry wine but very fruity and bright. — 10 years ago
Full of body and flavor for the price. Great Friday night steak wine! — 10 years ago
Lots of spice I recall. Fine indeed with the salmon and squash. — 9 years ago
Surprise bottle at the end of the tasting. A real treat. Garnet red with medium intensity and quite a bit of sediment. Layered nose with soft blackberries, soft black cherries, and a soft undertone of provenance herbs (lavender). Palate floats right across your tongue with some light red cherries, some toasted wood and a little leather. Still solid moderate tannins (5.5/10) and well integrated with the solid acidity. Medium to light bodied with great structure and texture. Moderate plus finish with a dryness to it. Drink till 2020. — 9 years ago
Aromas of wild berries, feral, mineral, saline; good structure and minerality, smooth long finish — 10 years ago

Dayum son! Full throttle and then some - but still somehow retains a sense of balance and complexity. Rich, lush, over the top fruit is balanced by an almost ethereal scent of spring flowers and a kiss of oak. Hedonistic in the best sense and another example of why Bevan is king. Please do yourself a favor and track some of this down, even if you aren't a fan of Pinot. Your palate will thank you. — 8 years ago
