Black cherry, mineral, cranberry, milk chocolate cake icing on the nose. Mineral, light medium bodied. Dry, dry, Cherry kool aide and an interesting ground beef back end. — 7 years ago
Had with a cube. What I liked was it had a balance to it. I expected it to have some burn, went down smoothly. Nicely made. — 8 years ago
This is a great scotch. Neat it is average. But add a single cube of ice and the flavor changes so drastically in the best way. — 9 years ago
Omg. So sherry. Very molasses and spice. Beautiful. Dash of cold water or single ice cube is best. 5yr anniversary pressie — 9 years ago
Oh hey! Leave it to @Paul Treadway Huntington Beacher Bum to get me into a Scotch. This is delectable. My usual quibble with scotch is the smoke and this one has a whisper of it but it only serves to ballast the vanilla, honey and...marmalade? Of the rest of this. Tried neat and on a big cube o’ ice in a chilled glass and definitely recommend the latter. It is an evenings worth of delicate sipping. A ballerina. A delicate scotch. I’m a fan. I eat my anti-scotch words this one is for me. — 7 years ago
A truly sublime spirit. Serve with ice water and a sugar cube. — 7 years ago
Light and refreshing appertif wine with great minerality and tangy grip.. it was served with a lemon peel and ice cube. — 8 years ago
Arguably my favorite scotch. Definitely a go to for a nice dinner party but I only break it out if I like ya! Peaty but smooth and really opens up with a big ice cube swimming around in it for a bit. — 9 years ago
Amber Orange in the glass, cinnamon and the charred oak barrel on the nose, warm caramel, vanilla, cinnamon maybe. Not overly long but pretty damn smooth. It's an easy quaff on a cold San Diego night 😂. A lot of oak showing--it doesn't bother me but I can see where some purists will take issue with it and I did mark it down a little for it's "woodiness". Had this neat last time but enjoying it more with a cube. — 9 years ago
Super smooth, easy drinking Malbec. Lighter taste than some others I've had, but this also means it pairs well with... well, I'll drink it with just about anything! I also love the cube for its convenience and value. It's not the most *aesthetic* choice but it sure is delicious. — 10 years ago
From Local Somerville wine shop. Good with large ice cube — 7 years ago
Smooth with a hint of sweet. Dash of water or one ice cube 👌 — 7 years ago
Pretty underwhelming. Like sucking on a ball of pine resin with an ice cube. — 9 years ago
Weingut Groebe Aulerde GG '12(est. 1763) with Conecuh County, AL whitetail venison cube steaks smothered in mushroom reduction. My first experience with Groebe(finally); thank you Manhattan Wine Company. Across the road from Weingut Wittmann. More elegant and not quite as ripe, rich, and concentrated as Wittmann or Keller. While arguably not quite as dynamic as aforementioned, a delicious compliment through meal and priced more attractively.AP# 17 — 9 years ago
Hotter'n hell. Ice cube recommended. Should be great in a cocktail. I need to restock my sweet vermouth. — 10 years ago

Ostras! Tapas in Ashland, OR. High octane but and ice cube fixed that. Rich, plummy fruit. — 7 years ago
